Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Smooth Operator ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Smooth Operator for personal or commercial video editing purposes, subject to these terms.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Modify or create derivative works based on the App
• Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the App
• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels

3. Your Content

You retain all rights to videos and content you process using Smooth Operator. We do not claim any ownership of your content.

You represent that you have all necessary rights to any content you process with the App, and that your use does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date
• No refunds for partial subscription periods
• Price changes will be communicated in advance

5. Lifetime License

The Lifetime license grants perpetual access to all features available at the time of purchase, plus updates for the lifetime of the product. "Lifetime" refers to the product's commercial lifespan, not the purchaser's lifespan. If the product is discontinued, lifetime license holders will receive at least 2 years notice and continued access to a final stable version.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

9. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
