We confirm your camera setup and help you plan a useful evaluation before it starts. Choose a fortnight that includes a rehearsal and two productions, or, for a venue, the tech week and opening of a show. Your evaluation runs fourteen days from the day your setup is confirmed. No card is needed to start. At the end you choose a plan, or you stop, and we say so plainly in writing before either happens.
Which cameras and controllers work with PTZ Composer?
Two answers, and we always say which one applies to you. Tested means a named model, firmware and control path we have flown and filmed; the compatibility page lists them. Supported protocol means your camera speaks VISCA over IP or serial with position feedback and offers an RTSP preview, or is a Panasonic AW camera: PTZ Composer measures it in minutes and tells you honestly whether it can fly it. If it cannot, it says why, and you have not lost anything. Tell us your exact setup before the evaluation.
What does one license cover?
A block of up to four cameras. A fifth camera needs a second block on the same plan, and one buyer's blocks can span rooms and sites. Check compatibility and supported camera capacity before your evaluation.
Is Relay a separate product?
No. Relay is PTZ Composer's integration proxy mode for supported controller workflows.
Do I need a credit card for the evaluation?
No. The evaluation runs fourteen days from the day your setup is confirmed, with no card. At the end you choose a plan, or you stop.
How do I cancel?
Tell us before your evaluation ends and nothing is charged. After a paid term begins, use the billing link in your account or confirmation email; cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues through the paid term.
What makes PTZ Composer different from a preset controller or shot list?
PTZ Composer lets you author the movement through the shot: its route, changing framing and pace. Run the resulting flight repeatedly or perform it live along a virtual rail. The motion engine plans around supported camera behavior, and Composer provides the preparation and operating workflow around it.
My camera already has smooth movement. What would Composer add?
Evaluate the camerawork you want to create: a flowing route through intermediate compositions, coordinated zoom, live timing along a virtual rail or a prepared behavior another operator can run. Use a real rehearsal to see what the complete workflow adds on your supported camera.
What is a virtual rail?
A virtual rail lets you control progress along an authored camera route. The system coordinates pan, tilt and, when authored, zoom while you control movement along the path. The physical camera stays in its mounted position.
Does 1.0 include a playlist?
1.0 has a rundown for prepared shots. Flights start from the Paths bank, a Companion button or a supported panel. A playlist that mixes shots and flights is planned.
Does my live video have to pass through PTZ Composer?
No. PTZ Composer manages camera movement; your program video continues through your existing production path. Preview and calibration may use a video feed, which is separate from routing the live program through Composer. Check the supported camera and control configuration before your evaluation.
Does PTZ Composer replace my switcher?
Your switcher continues to handle the live program. PTZ Composer's launch workflow controls physical PTZ movement. Check the supported configuration so your tools have clear control responsibilities.
Is this digital reframing or a new camera?
PTZ Composer is software for supported physical PTZ cameras. It controls the camera's movement and supported optical zoom; the launch workflow does not depend on cropping your program output to simulate a moving camera.
Does PTZ Composer replace the operator?
Your team prepares and operates the production. PTZ Composer helps you create and repeat the camera movement.
Can I use it outside a church?
Yes. The same workflow can fit supported production rooms used for performances, presentations, and events. We will check the requirements of your setup before the evaluation.
